“Reading allows you to travel, to make other people’s experiences your own.”
—MARIO VARGAS LLOSA
I am pursuing my doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri. Prior to my PhD, I worked as a Graduate Engineer with the Camfil Group for seven months, and I also gained industry exposure through internships at Tata Steel Limited and Lafarge India Limited.
My doctoral research lies in the field of computational mechanics, with a particular emphasis on the modelling and simulation of nonlinear contact and impact phenomena. This work involves developing and applying advanced numerical methods to address complex contact problems in mechanical systems.
Beyond engineering, I have a deep passion for technology and innovation. I also enjoy music, nature, and traveling to new places. Books have always been a constant source of inspiration and companionship for me, while writing blog articles allows me to share my thoughts and creativity in a meaningful way.
